GENERAL FUNCTION
The .net Lead Developer will be working to develop software solutions in support of EyeMed’s strategic business objectives. The position will work to develop software with a diverse team utilizing an agile development methodology. Responsible for specific development tasks using design best practices, analytical skills, creating detail designs from requirements, building solutions from design, from the technologies listed below. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems Key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system Complex application programming activities. Code, test, debug Work with business partners to identify technical and functional needs of system and determine priority of needs Manage standard system processes and enhancements to system. Ensure that solution design adheres to Industry software design best practices Adherence to defined Software Development Life Cycle and Architecture strategy and intent Functional, technical, and/or process leadership Work with Business Analyst and business leads to understand the scope of work, priorities, and requirements for development Work with project teams to deliver new capabilities in business applications and/or remediate issues Development of lifecycle activities of associate & vendor development resources Enforce department standards in areas of development methodology, architecture, code standards, security, change and configuration management Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs Contribute to defining timetables and project plans Analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with existing systems Ensure required application performance levels are achieved Coordinate coding, testing, implementation and documentation of solutions BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline 7 - 10 years C#/.NET/Angular Programming Language Experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Development Experience Utilizing the Following Technologies:
Complex PL/SQL development and SQL tuning skills Web Services Based Development (SOAP, REST) Developing extension libraries through the use of interfaces Testing (NUnit/Unit Testing) XML manipulations and XML Schema Validation Debug complex applications Visual Studio Angular 11 or 12 with .Net 6 Json, CSS3
Experience with Agile/Waterfall Development Methodology Experience with Healthcare/Insurance industry/Facets Strong ability to work in a team Good overall technical skills Strong problem-solving skills Works exceptionally well under high pressure/critical/prod down situations Flexibility to work non-business hours on occasion to meet business needs Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
