Design Engineer I

Typical Weekly Responsibilities

Use AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other software to support design, production, and project administration tasks, including feasibility studies, cost opinions, exhibits, construction plans, and bid packages.

Collaborate with technical experts and peers to perform design calculations, prepare specifications, and generate technical drawings and exhibits.

Expand your engineering knowledge by learning advanced techniques, applied theory, and industry best practices.

Investigate site conditions, jurisdictional criteria, and constraints to inform design iterations.

Participate in check-ins with managers and mentors to identify growth opportunities.

Provide information and exhibits to support decision-making for clients and internal stakeholders.

Must Have Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree from an ABET-accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).

Bonus Points

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Water Resources Software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS).

Previous engineering industry experience.

Passed the FE Exam.

Strong team mentality.
