Responsibilities This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Hydraulics Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The Hydraulic Project Engineer will:
Perform engineering calculations, technical studies, and prepare plans and specifications for various projects, including impact analysis, roadway drainage, and master drainage plans.
Oversee, control, and manage H&H analysis and design tasks.
Perform client and project management duties.
Prepare technical reports and correspondence.
Lead the development of drainage impact studies, master plans, and engineering reports (including CLOMRS & LOMRS).
Develop project design concepts, criteria, construction plans, and review project documents for quality assurance.
Collaborate with clients and other disciplines to develop appropriate designs.
Analyze complex design problems, developing new or improved techniques.
Consult with construction personnel on constructability.
Contribute to proposals and pursue new projects.
Supervise junior staff and make staffing recommendations.
Communicate independently with clients.
Manage design teams of approximately 5-10 people across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
8+ years of relevant experience involving H&H projects.
Experience with project proposals and presentations.
Preferred Skills
Expertise with ArcGIS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, XP SWMM (1D/2D), AutoCAD/MicroStation.
Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is
$110,000 - $135,000 , dependent on experience and location. Benefits include:
