We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in data management, database development, and Unix scripting.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in banking and capital markets, particularly in Payments and SWIFT message formats.
This role requires hands-on experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and testing low-latency client-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java-based applications for data management.
Work with SQL and databases (preferably Sybase/DB2) to optimize and manage data storage.
Develop and manage Unix scripts for automation and process optimization.
Analyze, design, and implement low-latency applications in the banking and capital markets domain.
Ensure compliance with Payments SWIFT message format standards.
Troubleshoot and optimize database queries for performance improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support.
Required Qualifications
Education: BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven expertise in Java development, specifically for data management applications. Strong knowledge of SQL and database management (preferably Sybase/DB2). Experience in banking and capital markets, particularly in Payments and SWIFT message formats. Proficiency in Unix scripting for automation. Ability to analyze, design, develop, and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications. Excellent customer-facing and communication skills (both written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large-scale financial systems. Knowledge of message-oriented middleware for financial transactions. Exposure to modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
