Requires a Masters Degree in Financial Engineering, Statistics, or Data Science, and must have college coursework in Data Visualization Application, Computational Methods in Finance, Intro to Python for Financial Application, Financial Systems Technology, Portfolio Theory and Applications, and Foundation of Financial Data Science. Gathering requirement and analyzing data, identifying key prediction/classification problem, devising solutions, and building prototypes. Machine learning: develop new features from business metrics data, gathered from multiple sources, and deploy models. Developing high performing algorithms, regression analysis for AB testing, and implementing these algorithms in scalable way. Modeling and developing complex / innovative algorithms. Applying fundamental knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Mat Lab. Utilizing TensorFlow and PyTorch. Applying fundamental knowledge of Big Data Architecture. Utilizing financial data, or alternative data, to analyze financial investment. Displaying complex data sets, creating data stories to business users using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or other open source platforms, such as D3. Working in fast paced agile environment and being a solid team player.
