Application Engineer*- Columbia, MD

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (Columbia, MD) is seeking an Application Engineer: Perform as the subject-matter expert and leading technical consultant for wireless protocol testing supporting customer R&D labs. Minimum Requirements:

7 years experience in the job offered or any related occupation. 7 years experience in Python and object-oriented programming. 7 years experience working with mobile communications protocols, including 5G NR, LTE Physical Layer, Layer 2, RRC, NAS. 7 years experience utilizing data centric protocols, including TCP/IP, SIP/SDP, RTP, RTCP. 7 years experience working with test equipment including radio communications testers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. Remote work permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Incumbent will be required to travel 15% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration.
