Join Our Team as a Furniture Delivery & Assembly Specialist!
Are you a white-glove wizard who turns furniture assembly into an art form? Liberty Moving and Storage isn't just about local and interstate moves-we're also deep into office furniture delivery and installation project management. From stunning glass office fronts to state-of-the-art FF&E, school setups, and even lab & hospital furnishings, we cover it all across NYC and the tri-state area. With our hubs in Commack, NY and Wayne, NJ, we need someone who's not afraid to get their hands a little (okay, a lot) dirty-while keeping things classy.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assembly & Installation:
Assist with assembling, disassembling, reconfiguring, and installing a wide range of office furniture-from tables and chairs to sofas, dressers, and wall units. You're the go-to for turning a flat pack into a flawless setup. Manufacturer Mastery:
Get comfortable with multiple manufacturer lines because no two pieces of furniture are ever exactly alike. Office Fronts:
Help install and repair office fronts to keep our spaces looking sharp. Inventory Management:
Keep track of furniture inventory and conduct cycle counts like a pro. Logistics:
Unload, stage, and transport furniture with the precision of a seasoned mover. General Service:
Take on general service work, including cleaning and trash removal-because sometimes even perfection needs a bit of tidying up. What We're Looking For: Experience:
At least 5 years in white glove furniture delivery and assembly is preferred. If you've been around the block (or the loading dock), we want to talk. Additional Skills:
Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar fields is a bonus. Brand Familiarity:
Knowing your way around brands like Steelcase, Herman Miller, Allsteel Furniture, Knowles Furniture, and System Office Furniture is a huge plus. Tool Savvy:
You should be comfortable with assembly tools and equipment-no guessing games here. Physical Prowess:
This isn't a desk job. Be ready to lift, bend, reach, pull, and push. (Think of it as gym membership included.) Team Spirit:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a crew that gets the job done. Flexibility:
Be open to flexible work hours-our standard is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, but sometimes evenings and weekends might call. What's in It for You: Competitive Pay:
$19-$25 hourly (DOE), plus overtime. Reliable Hours:
Regular shifts with the occasional need for evening or weekend work-no surprises, just the occasional extra hustle. If you're ready to combine traditional craftsmanship with a forward-thinking approach, and if you believe that furniture delivery isn't just a job but a mission, then we want you on our team. Apply now, and let's build something great together-one perfectly assembled piece at a time! #J-18808-Ljbffr
