We are seeking an experienced
Test Engineer
responsible for verifying and validating electro-mechanical design performance. This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring successful hardware and software processing/integration to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities
Lead integration, test planning and execution (including functional validation) on products. Establish reliability of products, maintainability, and durability test standards. Develop test plans and procedures. Build and test prototypes. Conduct compatibility evaluations. Write test plans, procedures and test reports. Analyze test data; identifying, isolating and resolving performance problems. Provide sustaining support by offering technical support; troubleshooting and resolving problems related to electro-mechanical design. Identify test equipment and network needs. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment and process. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal multi-disciplinary teams. Assist with risk reduction activities and issue resolution. May assist in the corrective/preventative action process. Job Qualifications
B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3+ years of test engineering experience, preferably in an Aerospace or Defense environment Expertise in thermal environment and electrical engineering (voltage, current, resistance) understanding Expertise in electrical integration and test product development, including the ability to generate and/or modify test plans and procedures (ATPs) Ability to apply electrical engineering principles and reviewing electrical schematics to define electrical integration test design, test plan, and procedures for system-level test activities Ability to perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system-level evaluations Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and find possible root causes related to test equipment, unit under test, and test procedures Ability to provide accurate and concise status reports and findings Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level Ability to write Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) Hands-on problem-solving skills Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be able to distinguish colors Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR regulations Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
