Position Summary
As a Financial Systems Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our company’s financial technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless functionality, compliance, and data integrity to support informed business decisions. Serving as the key liaison between finance, accounting, and IT teams, you will help align source system data with ledger reporting while driving efficiency and accuracy. In addition to system maintenance, you will lead upgrades, integrations, and user training, positioning yourself as a trusted leader in financial technology. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company's financial systems, including source ERP, SQL databases, data files, reports, visualizations, and tools for both internal and external financial reporting, as well as FP&A processes. Maintain data integrity and ensure seamless system interoperability across financial platforms. Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations to improve operational efficiency. Conduct comprehensive user acceptance testing for newly implemented systems and reports. Develop, document, and implement system processes, policies, and workflows to support organizational goals. Identify and execute process improvements to optimize financial operations, including the deployment of FP&A tools and dashboards. Provide expert recommendations on best practices for leveraging financial systems effectively. Collaborate with accounting teams to enhance reporting accuracy and compliance controls. Deliver user training and ongoing technical support to ensure effective utilization of financial systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, identifying proactive solutions to prevent future disruptions. Work with cross-functional teams (FP&A, IT, Finance, Accounting, Business Units) to plan system-related projects. Collaborate with third-party vendors (software providers, implementation partners). Understand existing and anticipated FP&A functions. Support financial analysis and reporting by gathering, interpreting, and presenting key financial data to inform business decisions. Contribute to the development and management of budgets and financial controls. Initially an individual contributor, the successful candidate will lead and build a highly performing technical team as new systems are onboarded and need to be managed (i.e. administrators of ERP, FP&A tool, etc.). Responsible for the development and delivery of financial data applications and analytics. All other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in administration of financial systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Skills Required
Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis. Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
Qualifications Preferred
MBA or CPA Preferred Experience in management. Strong and extensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Experience in the auto finance industry or lending industry Administrative proficiency of ERP and Financial Reporting applications including implementation, configuration, and interface with data warehouse. Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries. Advanced Excel including Power Query and Power Pivot. Expert in enabling data through dashboarding tools including PBI, Tableau, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism, while effectively multitasking and prioritizing diverse tasks. Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Leadership experience in organizing, planning and executing projects from conceptualization through implementation across multiple internal and external reporting and organizational lines. Strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization. Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests. Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements
