Overview: We are looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to join a forward-thinking digital transformation team within a global manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact role focused on designing, developing, and implementing AI and machine learning solutions that enhance operations, improve customer experiences, and optimize business performance. This opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in developing AI/ML models, deploying solutions in Azure, and working with cutting-edge technologies like large language models (LLMs). Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI/ML across a variety of domains, including manufacturing, IoT devices, and customer engagement platforms. Build scalable machine learning models tailored to solve specific business challenges. Work with complex datasets to extract insights and inform model development. Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud tools for model training, deployment, and monitoring. Develop and integrate LLM-based solutions into real-world business applications. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business goals. Stay informed of emerging trends in AI/ML and recommend technologies that support innovation. Mentor junior engineers and provide hands-on technical guidance across projects. Build and present proof-of-concept models to demonstrate feasibility and value. Ensure that AI/ML solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science roles. Proficiency in Python or R, with hands-on experience using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Deep understanding of Azure services including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Data Factory. Experience deploying and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs). Familiarity with MLOps best practices for managing model lifecycles. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute complex projects independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience applying AI/ML within manufacturing, IoT, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, or predictive modeling. Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data pipeline architectures.
