Senior Tax Manager We are excited to offer a career opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager to oversee and expand our robust tax services division. This role is perfect for a dynamic and experienced professional who will lead tax engagements across diverse industries, ensuring compliance and excellence in delivery. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will shape the strategic direction of our tax practices, mentor a growing team, and deepen client engagements with proactive, strategic tax planning. Salary:

DOE per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage tax engagements, ensuring compliance with all regulations and deadlines. Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Handle the preparation and review of both current and deferred tax provisions according to ASC 740. Provide strategic quarterly and year-end tax planning for diverse client portfolios. Focus on building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships. Optimize engagement strategies focusing on planning, organization, and delegation to maximize efficiency and quality. Direct the financial aspects of engagements including billing, collections, and project profitability. Lead educational initiatives, providing training and mentorship to staff to foster professional growth and expertise in tax matters. Energize business development efforts for the expansion and growth of our tax practice. Fulfill additional duties as necessary to support the team and clients. Minimum Position Qualifications: At least 5 years of public accounting experience, specializing in corporate and partnership taxation. Recent and relevant experience in tax preparation is mandatory. Expertise in preparing and reviewing tax provisions under ASC 740. Must be an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Exceptional project management, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven leadership abilities, with strong training and mentoring skills. Unwavering commitment to professionalism, reliability, integrity, and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Big 4, National, or significant Regional accounting firm highly regarded. Proficiency in tax preparation and research software such as ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement, CCH, RIA, and BNA. An advanced degree in accounting, tax, or law is highly preferable. Demonstrated success in a sales-oriented role with a focus on expanding tax practice services. Skills: Advanced knowledge of tax codes and regulations applicable to various types of entities. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets. High level of dedication to developing the team’s expertise in tax matters. Ability to effectively communicate tax strategies and compliance matters to clients.
