For more information or to submit your CV directly: 550 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46202 Indiana University School of Medicine Division of Abdominal Transplantation and Indiana University Health Physicians are actively recruiting a full-time abdominal transplant surgeon with a focus on liver and intestine transplant to join the faculty at the assistant, associate, or professor level. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative group of surgeons and APPs providing exceptional surgical care within the Indianapolis area. The main objective of this recruitment is to support a well-established abdominal transplant surgery division. IU Health ranks in the top 10 nationally, including 3rd in pancreas transplant volume, 5th in intestine transplant volume, and 5th in liver transplant volume. Desirable skills include: living donor liver transplantation, minimally invasive donor hepatectomy, liver perfusion, normothermic regional perfusion (NRP), or robotic surgery. Clinical duties will include transplant surgeries, procurements, and related procedures. Educational responsibilities involve clinical teaching with opportunities to interact with medical students, surgical residents, and fellows in various settings. The role also includes participation in research and scholarship activities to support the division and your professional growth.
