This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.We have an immediate opening for a sonographer to work in our Denver, CO office. This position performs a variety of sonographic examinations for fertility patients. This is a part-time position working every other Saturday and Sunday 7am -1pm.Pay$45-$50How You'll Contribute: We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Sonographer is responsible for:Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathologyMakes necessary measurements & calculationsDocuments results utilizing our electronic medical recordsProvides explanations of proceduresEstablishes personal rapport with patientsWhat You'll Bring:The skills and education we need are:Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMSRDMS/RVT requiredUnderstanding and ability to follow MD protocols for proceduresAbility to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this jobPrior experience with fertility patients strongly preferredMinimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women's healthMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
