As a Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, you will assist in developing, implementing, and administering the Company's Compliance Program. Your responsibilities include planning, organizing, and overseeing daily compliance activities, collaborating with senior management on emerging issues, and participating in committees, audits, and examinations. You will review and draft policies, monitor legal and regulatory updates, and ensure ongoing compliance. Additionally, you will: Guide the company in establishing controls to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks. Lead and develop the compliance team, addressing performance issues, and ensuring departmental coverage. Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating respect and professionalism. All associates are expected to stay informed about relevant regulations, including BSA and OFAC requirements, and ensure compliance. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 12+ years of relevant experience. 5+ years of management experience. Certifications such as CBCO, CRCP, CRCM, or examiner status. Thorough knowledge of compliance regulations. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent. 7+ years managerial experience in mid to large banks. Certifications like PMP, CAMS, or CFE. Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. High integrity, attention to detail, and client service skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. Work Environment:
Office setting with standard hours. Physical ability to perform job duties, including extended standing and travel (~15%).
