Overview The SAP S4 Technical Lead will oversee SAP S4/HANA implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. This role involves leading development and support teams, ensuring smooth SAP operations aligned with business needs. The position reports to the SAP S4 Operations Vice President and is located in Miramar, Florida.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead technical solution design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S4/HANA processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Maintain technical documentation, including design specs and test plans.
Oversee landscape development and SAP solution integration, adhering to best practices.
Partner with internal technology teams (Infra, Security, Data, QA).
Lead and prioritize a team of developers and consultants.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
Resolve technical issues related to SAP S4/HANA.
Coordinate with functional teams for seamless system integration.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Stay updated on SAP technologies and recommend improvements.
Ensure data security and integrity within SAP.
Develop and execute testing plans.
Provide end-user support and training.
Contribute to project budgeting and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field; master’s preferred.
Minimum 15 years of IT leadership experience, preferably in large organizations or as a CIO.
Experience managing diverse technology teams.
Proven leadership in IT transformation projects.
Knowledge of digital concepts, IT governance, project methodologies, and KPIs.
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide programs.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.
Certifications and deep knowledge of SAP modules like FICO, MM, SD, WM.
Industry experience in wine, spirits, food, or distribution sectors.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
Expertise in SAP S4/HANA configuration and customization.
Knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, WM, IM.
Experience with SAP WRICEF objects, iDocs, BAPI, SAP PI/PO.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, QGM, ChaRM.
Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
Physical Demands
Prolonged sitting and computer use.
Occasional walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
