Our Organization requires the service of a Strategic Equipping Analyst.
Responsibilities
Analysis of equipping strategy and documents, analytic and data support for fleet management and studies, identification of funding gaps in support of POM development, and other duties to support AR force modernization/system integration. Resident expert for analysis of all Armys equipping strategy and documents inherent to the Armys POM and BES regarding equipment resourcing and distributions within the Field Logistics and Transportation portfolios. Facilitate reporting compliance, and inform strategic product development. Established knowledge of equipment requirements associated with Army Reserve structure. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Army Reserve statutory requirements to include Congressional, DoD, and Army equipment reporting and accountability policies. Expertise to establish a fully integrated Army Reserve equipment data warehouse. Ability to collaborate in equipping forums and develop positions that allow Army Reserve senior leaders to protect Army Reserve equities. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field of study. Five (5) years of Army, Army Reserve and/or Army National Guard equipping experience and knowledge including: the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, with focus on the Equipping Program Evaluation Group (EE-PEG) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development portion, preferably with Army Reserve or Army National Guard experience. Ability to analyze and interpret Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Army (DA) strategic equipping guidance in order to develop Army Reserve priorities and shape resource management decisions. Capability to navigate and extract data from Army equipment databases to assess accuracy.
