Hilton - Global Headquarters - McLean 7930 Jones Branch Drive McLean 22102 ***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA*** As a Senior Analyst on the Global Brands and Commercial Services Reporting (GBCS) team, reporting to the Senior Manager, GBCS Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting GBCS Finance teams through budgets and forecasts. Outputs will include budget/forecast/actual reports, presentations and ad-hoc analysis. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, builds cross-functional connections across Finance, and develops an understanding of the various GBCS functions. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. What your day-to-day will be like: Manage the monthly forecast process and calendars for GBCS Finance, communicating key dates and deliverables to the team Prepare materials for monthly financial business reviews, quarterly board of directors' meetings and budget presentations Analyze and communicate financial data into "storyline" and key themes for GBCS leadership Develop financial models and perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities How you will collaborate with others: Collaborate with business partners to investigate variances and support special projects Partner with Accounting and Audit teams to ensure adequate allocation documentation, approvals and SOX compliance WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT You have these minimum qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting, or operational finance Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions), including financial modeling Experience with Hyperion Planning/Essbase or other similar financial systems It would be useful if you have: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Experience in the hospitality industry WHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON Hilton, the #1 World's Best Workplace, is a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands.
