Under the supervision of the

the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting will lead and manage the finance and accounting departments, including teams responsible for financial reporting, planning, analysis and compliance. This position will develop and implement Caminar’s financial strategies in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Support
and mentor the
FP&A
, accounting, and billing
team
s
with
guidance and mentorship Participate in strategic business decision making as a member of the management team Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements Ensure timely filing of all financial statements, reports, and tax filings with internal and external stakeholders Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Review and approve the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations to the senior leadership team to drive decision-making and improve business performance Monitor cash flow, investments, and other key financial activities to ensure the organization remains financially stable Collaborate with legal, tax, and business development teams to evaluate potential financial risks and opportunities in corporate transactions Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process Work closely with IT teams to ensure the finance and accounting departments are leveraging the best financial software and technology Other requests as needed Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities: Must be passionate about Caminar's mission. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution. 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity Proven track record in financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and team management Experience working in complex, large-scale organizations or companies with multi-department financial structures Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP), and tax laws. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling). Ability to think strategically and manage complex financial scenarios. Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. High level of integrity and transparency in financial reporting and decision-making. A proactive problem-solver with the ability to drive change and process improvements Must be a dynamic self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently on special projects. Special
Requirements: Must
be
able
to
meet
and
receive
a
criminal
records
clearance,
as
required
by California Code, Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC § 5405
and
Caminar
practices. This position may require occasional driving
but is not required.
In order to drive you must possess a
valid California driver license and an MVR sufficient
to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability. Personal auto insurance and reliable personal vehicle may be required and in all cases are strongly preferred. Must
be
able
to
pass
post-offer,
