Key Responsibilities:
Record monthly property-level income and expenses to ensure accurate NOI reporting
Manage fixed asset additions and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and revenue recognition principles
Prepare acquisition entries, disposition entries, and gain/loss calculations per ASU 2017-05
Perform variance analysis on operating revenue/expenses quarterly
Review and approve property invoices and prepare CAM reconciliations
File monthly/quarterly sales tax and municipal property income-related filings
Conduct quarterly asset impairment analyses
Assist with documenting accounting policies and improving workflows
Required Experience:
1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or full-time)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel required
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Hands-on experience with commercial real estate accounting
Involvement with acquisitions, reconciliations, or asset disposition
Background in corporate finance or audit
Advanced MS Excel skills, MRI and Sage Fixed Assets
