Title: Network Engineer/Cloud Automation Specialist (Level 2)
Location: Seattle, WA Openings: 1 Type: Long-Term Contract This position is for a Cloud Automation Specialist responsible for setting up, configuring, and supporting internal and external cloud-based networks. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing system requirements, developing and maintaining system applications and security, configuring network settings, troubleshooting performance issues, providing user support and guidance, and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment. Responsibilities include:
Strategic and hands-on planning and implementation Network engineering Automation Ticket management Change management Requirements:
5+ years of professional network engineering experience Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure Ability to configure virtual, cloud-based, and cloud-native switching, routing, and firewall settings using manual and automated methods (scripts, automation and orchestration tools, APIs, etc.) Knowledge of networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, HTTP, web security, switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls Experience with Configuration Management tools like Terraform (preferred), Chef, SaltStack, or Puppet Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Netconf/Yang, or Expect for route/switch configuration Programming skills in Python (preferred) or Golang
