The Database Developer plays a key part in developing industry-leading solutions using the latest technologies in MS SQL Server to design, develop, and maintain large-scale database projects. This position involves working in a highly collaborative environment with other skilled professionals to continuously improve database architecture and execution. The starting pay is $74,500, with salary based on experience. Position Details: In-office position with a 4.5-day workweek. Ability to commute daily to the local office is required. Design and document logical and physical database models to meet various business requirements. Adhere to best practices and standards for database performance, security, and availability. Create, maintain, and execute SQL Server jobs. Provide post-implementation support, including monitoring application performance and debugging code. Stay updated with technological advancements and explore how new technologies can provide business solutions. Perform other database duties as assigned. Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
2+ years of experience in database design, development, and maintenance. Proficiency in SQL Server (scripting, indices, views, stored procedures). Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Quick learner of new technologies and business functions. Experience with Agile or iterative delivery approaches is preferred. Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, is a plus. Experience with SSIS development is a plus. Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) is a plus.
