Summary: The Director of Ministry Operations supports the ministry of Cross Creek Presbyterian Church (PCA) by working with the pastor, staff, and ministry teams to coordinate ministries across the congregation and facilitate the execution of session-determined goals. Report to the Lead Pastor. Work with staff, ministry team leaders, and elders. Weekly Commitment: Part or Full-Time. Responsibilities: Partner with the Lead Pastor. Identify key gaps and metrics towards church goals of connecting neighbors to Christ, growing members in faith, and equipping them to serve in love. Meet regularly with the pastor for prayer, encouragement, and education. Collaborate on church communication and theming best practices. Organize annual reviews of the pastoral staff. Oversee staff development and care. Lead staff meetings regularly. Train staff with clarity and kindness for spiritual, professional, and emotional growth. Oversee strategic initiatives using SMART goals. Review budget strategies with the treasurer and bookkeeper. Organize annual performance reviews. Coordinate Ministry Teams. Facilitate efforts of ministry teams to meet goals via SWOT analysis and SMART goals. Attend ministry team meetings as appropriate. Connect the Session with ministry team leaders. Implement church strategic direction through the Strategic Planning Team. Learn and execute the annual strategic planning summit process. Plan and lead meetings for the strategic planning team. Provide ongoing direction and encouragement. Liaise between the SPT and church officers. Starting 2027, organize and lead the annual strategic summit. Sessional Leadership and Other Opportunities Serve on the Session. Preach 2-4 times per year. Teach or coordinate 1-2 family seminars annually. Core competencies: Loves Christ and His Church.
