Position Overview: ICM BTO enterprise models technology needs a senior full stack developer to support growing business needs for model analytics for the company's mortgage portfolio. The full stack developer will work closely with business partners to deliver a web application for our Finance division. You will play a meaningful role in driving activities in delivering the solution.

Our Impact: The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division is responsible for managing the retained portfolio, Freddie Mac's debt funding, liquidity management, and interest-rate hedging. The division also oversees I&CM securitization.

Your Impact: You will be responsible for developing new applications from the ground up. We seek innovative candidates in an emerging field to engineer agile solutions. This position involves the successful development, design, and documentation for multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.

5-7+ years of relevant professional experience.

4+ years of hands-on Java software development experience in a professional environment.

Strong understanding of Java language, Java 8+ standard library.

Familiarity with databases and SQL.

Ability to develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and reporting.

Experience with UI frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Figma).

Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Spring framework highly desired.

Ability to write clear code documentation.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications for security and responsiveness.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter, quick learner, diligent.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).

Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks a plus.

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Understanding of application performance diagnostics and analytical tools.

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).

This position has an annual market salary range of $130,000 - $196,000 and is eligible for an annual incentive. Final salary depends on experience, skills, internal pay equity, and other qualifications.
