Client is looking for a customer-centric, data-driven, and motivated individual to join our product merchandising team. This individual will work on high-impact merchandising workstreams focused on reshaping Client's retail business. We're looking for someone with retail and/or merchandising experience with strong business and product sense to deliver on detailed timelines. This individual should have experience in building both consumer-facing and back-end retail tools/systems. You will help gather requirements, communicate, and work collaboratively across multiple teams and levels in the organization. You will help execute the strategic development and management of new and existing merchandising initiatives that will drive revenue growth and profitability for our retail business. The ideal candidate will thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous environment and know how to operate with competing priorities. You will work closely with engineering, product, and across multiple teams. The ability to influence product priorities, advocate for agile ways of working, demonstrate exceptional communication, and collaborate across the organization are essential. Job Responsibilities Translate divisional sales goals and customer experience insights into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap for the key product areas. Develop and maintain the product and feature roadmap for the assigned area, managing prioritization among user experience, technology, and marketing organizations. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the teams ability to meet goals. Work closely with engineering and UI/UX designers to define detailed product requirements. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts or Associate Product Managers. Grow adoption and usage of the client front-end store business, identifying customer segments with strong growth potential and developing strategies to target them. Implement growth strategies by coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver necessary changes. Measure and analyze the impact of existing functionality, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, and collaborating with technology and marketing teams for implementation. Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. Write well-informed business requirements based on data, discussions, and own analysis, refining and driving these requirements to completion through effective communication. Primary Skills: Must have retail/merchandising skills; candidates without these skills should not be considered. Must be data/backend focused, not ecommerce or digital. 6+ years of experience as a product manager. Experience in space planning and space management, specifically planning store spaces across the country. Experience building systems/business tools for merchants. Experience with profitability analysis tools, UI development, and backend API integrations. Experience expanding products across various business avenues. Provide guidance on data needs and data capture. Retail space product experience, understanding merchandising and B2B. Familiarity with Relex, Oracle systems, SAP, Annaplan, BlueYonder, and tools like ADO and JIRA.
