Business Development Manager - Calibration Services

PCI is seeking a
Business Development Manager
to focus on
new account growth
and
existing account expansion
within the Northeast US/New England territory. Experience with calibration/instrumentation services and field operations, including creating proposals, developing scope of work, extensive client interaction, and sales metrics reporting, is highly desired. The Business Development Manager position is
exempt . This role reports directly to the
Director/Senior Director, Senior Business Development Manager , or
Business Development Manager , depending on organizational structure. Travel is required approximately 25-50% annually. Expectations: The responsibilities include developing strong customer relationships, identifying and connecting with Key Stakeholders, and developing sales reports and Key Performance Indicators for each account. The Manager is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, expanding services at existing accounts, and prospecting new accounts. This includes developing quotes or proposals, assisting the Quality team with customer complaints and CAPAs, and meeting with 10-20 accounts monthly. The Manager is expected to facilitate or provide structured account plans to field service teams and serve as a liaison between the Business Development organization, Service Teams, and customers to ensure an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities/Assignments: Manage a specific region, state, or field service team. Identify and convert new business opportunities. Participate in local professional organizations (ISPE, PDA, etc.). Execute organizational business development strategies under the guidance of senior management. Present at trade shows and professional events. Performance review responsibilities may be included depending on organizational structure. Experience & Education: A four-year degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field, or equivalent military/industry training, with 3-5 years of sales or account management experience. Strong customer service skills are essential. Salary includes a base plus an at-risk annual bonus.
