Indiana University Health and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking an OB Laborist to join our patient-centered obstetric care team. The role offers a collaborative environment at Riley Children's Maternity Tower, a state-of-the-art facility providing private labor and delivery spaces and comprehensive maternity services in an academic setting. Riley Maternity Tower is Indiana's leading maternal and newborn care facility, serving a diverse population in Indianapolis and high-risk maternity patients statewide. Services include Level IV OB-ED/ICU, Level IV NICU, Maternal-fetal Medicine, Neonatologists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Advanced Practice Providers, and other specialized women's health services.

Offering 12- or 24-hour shifts, working within a skilled, collaborative team including laborists, generalists, midwives, and APPs. Supporting high-risk OB patients alongside MFM and critical care teams. Involvement in deliveries (vaginal and cesarean), managing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, and assisting with obstetric triage and emergencies. Implementing protocols to ensure optimal patient care and quality outcomes. Academic Responsibilities
This position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, with responsibilities including teaching and supervising residents and medical students, and engaging in scholarly activities. Qualifications
Completion of an ABMS-accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program; open to both experienced physicians and new graduates. Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. MD or DO eligible for Indiana medical licensure. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team within a large health system.
