Job Details: Position: Physician Specialty: Family Practice Start Date: 06-16-25 Length: 13 weeks Schedule And Coverage: Shift Coverage: Scheduled + No Call Shift Schedule: Standard 5, 8-Hour 19:00 - 07:00 About The Facility: Facility Type: Float Pool Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. Conduct patient histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses. Manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans. Provide preventative care and health education. Perform minor procedures as permitted by state regulations. Collaborate with specialists for coordinated care. Maintain accurate medical records. Stay current with family medicine advancements. Skills: Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in physical examinations and minor procedures. Critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Time management skills. Preventive care knowledge. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Education Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Residency in family medicine accredited by ACGME or AOA. License & Certifications: Board certification in family medicine (ABFM or AOA). Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas. Experience: At least one year of experience in a primary care setting preferred. Additional Notes: Temporary assignments with flexibility and diverse patient populations.
