Mid-July, open-ended We invite qualified candidates to apply for a locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position, which encompasses a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT. Please note that this role does not involve cardiac, obstetric, or block procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care during the perioperative and procedural phases. • Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans tailored to patient needs. • Conduct thorough history and physical examinations. • Obtain informed consent from patients prior to procedures. • Execute pre-anesthetic evaluations and perform post-operative assessments. • Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, epidural, spinal, and IV regional blocks. • Provide Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) as needed. • Conduct invasive monitoring and placement procedures such as central venous pressure (CVP) monitoring, central venous catheterization (CVC), pulmonary artery catheterization, and intra-arterial line placements. • Manage the airway effectively to ensure patient safety throughout the anesthesia process.
