The University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (KU ADRC) is seeking a full-time neurologist with a sub-specialty interest in cognitive neurology to join our growing team. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage patients in our tertiary referral Memory Care Clinic, participate in research and educational initiatives, and collaborate with a robust geriatrics program. Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose patients in the KU Memory Care Clinic. Attend on the neurology inpatient unit, consult or stroke service. Supervise neurology residents in hospital wards and clinics. Lead or participate in industry-sponsored clinical trials and research projects. Engage in teaching and scholarly activities. Maintain a primarily outpatient cognitive neurology practice with minimal inpatient call. Qualifications
MD/DO degree. Board certified/eligible in Neurology. Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri. Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship in cognitive behavioral neurology or geriatric psychiatry. Compensation & Benefits
