MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington's South Sound Region dedicated to comprehensive health services for children and adolescents. 10-12 hour shifts Position Summary We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join our pediatric urgent care team at MultiCare's Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Network. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating continuously Apply nursing knowledge and experience to provide care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and reduce costs Promote a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and healthcare team members Advocate for ethical and holistic care, respecting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years of hire; experienced RN with 15+ years or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021, may satisfy this requirement without an education agreement Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred Current RN license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) Current BLS certification National Certification in Hospice, Palliative Nursing, or ELNEC preferred Two years of recent pediatric experience preferred One year of Hospice or Palliative Care experience preferred Why Choose Mary Bridge Children's?
