Carilion Clinic is seeking a Hospitalist to join our team at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, located in the scenic New River Valley of Virginia (Christiansburg/Blacksburg/Radford). We are a progressive, collaborative healthcare organization committed to community health. Join a team of 14 Hospital Medicine providers and two Nocturnists APPs, working at a 146-bed hospital with a Heart and Vascular Center, The Birthplace, and a Level III trauma center. Practice Highlights
7 on 7 off flexible scheduling; 182 shifts annually Average patient load of 16 with established backup plans Physician-designed geographic rounding with an admitter Open ICU with 24-hour intensivist backup EMR (EPIC) Opportunity to moonlight at other Carilion hospitals Nocturnist opportunity with additional incentives Compensation & Benefits
Competitive guaranteed base salary plus RVU and quality incentives. Benefits include relocation assistance, paid malpractice & tail coverage, health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as retirement plans (403(b), 457(b)) and CME allowance. Community & Location
