is seeking a program director for our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Program. We welcome six residents per year into our comprehensive program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical education and training residents, combined with a strong focus and commitment to patient care. Northwest Indiana
offers an excellent quality of life with opportunities for beaches, hiking dunes, and dining in downtown Chicago. Indiana also provides a physician-friendly environment with malpractice tort reform. Primary Responsibilities:
Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical duties. Oversee and maintain the quality of didactic and clinical education. Establish strategic direction, standards, and reputation of the Family Medicine Residency program. Manage residency practice, operations, and oversee residents. Recruit and interview residents, recruit faculty, and oversee clinical rotations. Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine according to ACGME guidelines. Teach residents through clinical and didactic work. Requirements:
Documented educational and/or administrative experience. Board certification in Family Medicine. Practicing physician with clinical experience. Experience in graduate medical education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse people and personalities. Opportunity Includes:
