We are searching for a highly skilled Interim Director of FP&A to be a part of our interim consulting practice. Support long-term strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and business analysis. Monitor and analyze key financial metrics (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) to ensure alignment with company objectives. Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads. Conduct quarterly and monthly reforecasts, updating assumptions and financial models based on performance and changing business conditions. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership. Develop variance analyses, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. Assist in preparing presentations for the Board of Directors, senior management, and other stakeholders. Conduct profitability analyses across business units, product lines, and markets to identify cost-saving opportunities. Evaluate key drivers of margin performance, including pricing, sales mix, and operating expenses. Track capital expenditures and their impact on financial performance Create and maintain scenario models to assess the financial impact of business decisions, risks, and opportunities. Provide insights into potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with management teams. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. Have a minimum of 7+ years of relevant finance experience. Demonstrated ability to construct long-range P&L and cash flow models, develop strategic insights and analytics, and present key findings to business leaders. Highly proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience in creating and managing project plans. Seniority level
