Senior Project Manager / Designer - High-End Residential + Commercial
This AD100 Los Angeles-based design studio is renowned for its sophisticated, livable interiors. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Designer to help bring their refined, modern vision to life across high-end residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate seamlessly with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and fabricators across multiple projects Manage all phases of the residential interior design process, including project set-up, concept design, FF&E procurement, and installation Develop and define the design vision for the project with the Principal, including color palette, material selection, furnishings aesthetic, and accessories Set clear and attainable project objectives and requirements, ensuring smooth project execution Oversee project scheduling, budgets, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants Work closely with clients, the Principal, and design assistants to develop sales orders that meet the project's criteria (budget, aesthetic, etc.) Aid in the development of custom pieces and track the financial performance of the project Ensure projects adhere to contracts and review/approve client invoices Delegate and supervise junior designers and design assistants, ensuring the team's effective execution Skills & Requirements: 5+ years of design experience in roles such as Designer, Interior Designer, Technical Designer, Project Manager, or related positions Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office Understanding of sustainable sourcing and interest in pursuing sustainability efforts Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility for project budgets Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring multiple project teams Seniority level
