Chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology
to shape the future of pediatric IR care, research, and education in North Carolina and beyond. This is more than a faculty appointment—it’s a rare opportunity to
build and lead
a premier pediatric interventional radiology program at a world-class academic medical center. The selected leader will join a thriving, mission-driven institution at the forefront of healthcare innovation and serve a pivotal role in developing services for the
new, state-of-the-art North Carolina Children’s Hospital
—the first free-standing children’s hospital in the state, opening in the early 2030s. This future-focused facility will offer 400 inpatient beds, 100 behavioral health beds, and an ambulatory services building, and serve as a major hub for pediatric care in collaboration with UNC and Duke. About the Role: As Chief of Pediatric IR, you will: Lead a high-performing team
providing cutting-edge vascular and non-vascular interventions for children, including vascular malformations, oncologic procedures, organ transplants, biopsies, drainages, and complex vascular access. Shape
clinical strategy, operational planning, and facility design
for the upcoming Children’s Hospital IR services. Serve as a dedicated mentor and educator within a top-tier academic environment. Drive impactful research in pediatric interventional radiology in collaboration with UNC’s robust health sciences research ecosystem. Why UNC Radiology?
