Position Summary Work during weekend shifts as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting at MinuteClinic. The role focuses on providing evidence‑based, comprehensive care while maintaining clinic operations and supporting patients’ overall health and well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

Provide primary and family evidenced‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.

Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.

Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.

Conduct patient education on healthy lifestyles, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other health care professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan.

Encourage patients to become active participants in their health through screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management services.

Required Qualifications

Provide holistic, evidenced‑based care that includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.

Order and administer immunizations and injections (e.g., COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based vaccine counseling.

Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.

Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.

Ability to speak and write in additional languages, including Spanish, as required by the market.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.

Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Preferred Qualifications

If less than one year of licensed provider experience, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

Education

Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with current National Board Certification and a state license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

Or a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or an equivalent health‑related master’s degree) with current National Board Certification and a state license to practice in the role.

Pay Range Hourly rate: $46.03 – $99.14. Base pay is based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program.
