SAP Finance - Tech Consulting - Oil & Gas - SAP Retail Fuel - Senior Join EY as a Senior Consultant in Technology Analysis focused on SAP Finance for the Oil & Gas downstream sector (SDM & RFNO).

Location: Anywhere in Country. This position will require regular travel to meet client needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support workstream delivery and assist in managing processes and solutions.

Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.

Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.

Hands‑on experience with SDM (Secondary Distribution Management), PAT (Process Automation Toolset), RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operation), data collation, including the Rack Ticket feature using Process Ticket.

Engage with key business users to gather and define detailed functional requirements.

Support the functional design and solutioning efforts for IS‑Oil SDM and RFNO modules.

Collaborate with the technical team to ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.

Assist in gathering functional requirements and support UAT activities.

Contribute to driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business validation and readiness; provide leadership during rollout and support the business during go‑live.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).

Typically no less than 4‑6 years of relevant experience.

System configuration experience.

Proficiency in system development lifecycle.

Knowledge of technology business architecture frameworks.

Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80 %.

4–6 years of experience with SAP IS‑Oil.

Deep functional expertise in SDM and RFNO.

At least two end‑to‑end implementations involving SDM and RFNO as a Functional Lead or Solution Architect.

Strong experience gathering business requirements and converting them into functional specifications; ability to bridge the gap between functional and technical teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Exposure to at least one full‑cycle implementation.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Experience in managing client relationships and expectations.

A strong background in technology analysis and implementation.

Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.

Prior consulting industry experience.

SAP certification(s).

Experience with at least one full‑cycle implementation of your core module.

Additional qualifications that enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

Experience in leading cross‑functional teams.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
