Aseptic Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Pharmaceutics International, Inc. (Pii), a Jabil company, has an immediate need for an experienced Aseptic Production Supervisor to manage 2nd shift aseptic fill manufacturing in Hunt Valley, MD!
Salary:
$110,000 – $120,000
per year, DOE.
Sign‑on Bonus:
$1,500
Shift: 02:30 pm – 11:30 pm (Monday‑Friday; weekend overtime may be required)
Operational Oversight
Oversee daily manufacturing activities during assigned shift
Ensure adherence to batch records, SOPs, and aseptic techniques
Monitor production schedule and update KPIs; report delays or issues
Maintain aseptic qualification training on the floor
Lead safety protocols and PPE compliance
Supervise and coach manufacturing operators
Conduct shift huddles and communicate operational priorities
Provide training and support to staff as needed
Demonstrate and mentor skill sets to Manufacturing Technicians
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure accurate, timely GMP documentation and inspection readiness
Identify and update deviations in TrackWise
Lead investigations of event and minor classification deviations
Required Qualifications
3–5 years in a GMP‑regulated environment (biopharmaceutical, medical device)
Minimum 3 years of people‑leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing, cleanroom operations, and aseptic fill‑finish
Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams
Extensive knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline
Experience in deviation management, documentation review, and cross‑functional collaboration
Formal training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Yellow, Green, or Black Belt), or equivalent
Experience with sterilization methods (autoclaving), sterile filtration, and drug product formulation/compounding
Physical Demands
Ability to travel to and within facilities as needed
Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders to mezzanines when necessary
Ability to lift up to 40 lb on occasion
Use of PPE (safety shoes, goggles, respirators, gloves, etc.) as required
