We’re seeking an
Accounting Manager
to lead a small accounting team within a growing, service-oriented organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong processes, developing people, and ensuring accurate, reliable financial reporting.
Position Overview The Accounting Manager oversees financial reporting, directs the close process, and strengthens day-to-day accounting operations. This leader works closely with senior finance partners, supports audits, and contributes to ongoing improvements in workflow and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly and quarterly close activities and review financial statements for accuracy
Manage a team of accountants, providing coaching, training, and performance guidance
Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements that enhance consistency and efficiency
Support audit preparation and respond to leadership requests for financial insights
Assist with new tools, process changes, and other initiatives that improve accounting operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of accounting or reporting experience, including team leadership
Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort working with financial systems
Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
CPA preferred but not required
