We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Principal to lead technical expertise for the ECS Group of Companies, a leader in geotechnical consulting services. The role will involve supporting Geotechnical staff across branches and regions, mentoring associate principals, and driving business development.
Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and support Geotechnical staff both within a branch and within a region.
Host or attend project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to provide technical solutions.
Mentor Associate Principals.
Serve on the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical).
Perform technical report reviews.
Prepare and review proposals.
Assist with management of the department and P&L.
Participate in business development and assist other staff in marketing services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
Assist hiring managers in staffing decisions.
Lead and coach junior staff members.
Coordinate tasks across departments, including CMT.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
12 years of related experience.
Designation as a senior reviewer at current or previous firm.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state of work.
Valid driver’s license if driving for or on behalf of an ECS subsidiary.
