Join Ascension as a Physician-OB Hospitalist in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a PRN board‑certified OBGYN MD/DO position with 2 years of experience required, with a new OB Hospitalist program at Eagle Highlands PC.

Responsibilities
Manage labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians
Provide urgent postpartum care per assigned physician
Care for all unassigned patients presenting to OB Unit or Emergency Room
Triage patients presenting to the unit unless directly admitted
Perform cesarean deliveries when necessary
Perform circumcisions
Communicate with Maternal‑Fetal Medicine on consults and actions when requested
Support Level IV hospital and nursery facilities, Level IV maternity center and NICU, and 24‑hr dedicated OB anesthesia
Provide outpatient office hours as needed
Assist in projected 2000 deliveries per year
Call schedule: dedicated on‑site call coverage with frequency and responsibilities as noted above.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date.
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) (or equivalent).
