The Role:
Highly experienced full‑stack developer who thrives on shipping fast, solving complex problems, and leveraging AI development tools to accelerate execution. Build core features of ELITE—a social network with behavioral skill tracking, community infrastructure, session booking marketplace, and gamification systems while maintaining clean architecture and cost‑conscious technical decisions.
Core Technical Stack
Frontend:
React 18, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, React Router, React Hook Form with Zod validation.
Backend:
Node.js 20+, Express.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL 15+, Prisma ORM, RESTful API design, Clerk or Auth0 authentication, Stripe payment processing, AWS S3 or Cloudinary storage, SendGrid email.
DevOps & Infrastructure:
CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Vercel (frontend), Railway/Render (backend), Supabase or PlanetScale database hosting, Sentry error monitoring, PostHog analytics.
Advanced Capabilities:
Browser extension (Manifest v3), Electron desktop apps, SQLite local data, Zoom and calendar API integrations, LLM cost optimization batch processing.
AI‑Assisted Development
Proficiency with AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, V0, Lovable, Replit).
Ability to write effective prompts for AI code generation and test suite generation.
Experience reviewing and refining AI‑generated code, balancing AI usage with custom code.
What Success Looks Like
Month 1‑3: Ship 3‑5 high‑priority features (social network core, authentication, profiles, activity feeds).
Month 4‑6: Complete session booking marketplace, payment processing, email automation. Launch beta with core feature set.
Month 7‑9: Build gamification systems, behavioral tracking integrations, AI‑powered skill categorization; optimize performance and user experience.
What You Bring
5+ years of full‑stack development experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong React and Node.js proficiency; production applications built with these technologies.
Database design and management with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and ORMs such as Prisma.
API development, third‑party API integration, authentication systems.
Experience with Stripe payment processing and marketplace/booking systems.
AI development tool fluency (Cursor, Copilot, etc.).
Startup mentality; comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and pragmatic technical decisions.
Cost‑conscious engineering; scalable solutions within budget constraints.
