Job Description Summary :
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Louisville School of Medicine seeks a Gastroenterologist with a motility focus. Candidates should be board‑certified, completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in gastroenterology, and possess clinical experience or a research interest in gastrointestinal motility. The role involves clinical practice, teaching, research, and service within a division that participates in NIH grant‑based studies.
Teaching Responsibilities :
Participation in lectures and seminars; bedside and endoscopic teaching of residents and students.
Service Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the division chief and faculty to develop and implement growth strategies in GI motility.
Clinical Responsibilities :
Hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, as well as office‑based patient care. Primary focus will be on foregut (gastric and small bowel) motility disorders and their treatment.
Research Opportunities :
Participation in clinical trials, outcomes research, and NIH‑funded projects.
