General Manager Responsibilities The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with leadership to set restaurant goals and creates plans to achieve them. To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, helps them set goals, monitors progress, and provides coaching and direction. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future.

Qualifications Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
