Come lead the strategic and operational backbone of a luxury landscape architecture firm in New York. This role ensures seamless business management—covering finance, HR, project delivery, and growth planning—while upholding commitment to design excellence and client service. Acting as both a key internal leader and external representative, you’ll drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and maintain the firm’s culture of professionalism and aesthetic integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Drive strategic growth by partnering with Principals, shaping business plans, budgets, and staffing aligned with the firm’s creative vision.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability tracking, and reporting.
Optimize operations through process improvements, technology integration, and compliance with safety and legal standards.
Ensure project profitability and quality while supporting client communications, proposals, and contracts.
Lead HR functions—recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews—and foster a collaborative, professional culture.
Support business development initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and strengthen the firm’s brand presence.
Skills and Experience
Proven leadership in operations, finance, and strategic planning within a design-focused or creative environment.
Strong understanding of project management systems, business software, and workflow optimization tools.
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
