Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting data center activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 Location: Onsite - Irving, TX Duration: 18 Month Contract on W2 Pay: $25 - $28/hr. + Benefits & PTO Day Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue) Day Shift B: 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)
What's the Job?
Monitor the system for equipment failures or performance errors.
Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating the program as necessary.
Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports.
Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring detailed inventory tracking.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma AND 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain or a related field.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Previous experience working in a data center environment.
Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with customer service and interpersonal skills.
