Job Description
Analyzes actual and predicted, interacting, and operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques.
Participates in planning, scheduling, and coordinating selected analytical process phases or assists in working any selection of subcomponents of the process or system under analysis.
Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, simulations, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.) and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.
Applies extensive technical expertise and has knowledge of other related disciplines.
Guides the successful completion of analysis.
Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Analysis related field
Ability to gain and hold a TS/SCI clearance
Experience manipulating data from Excel spreadsheets
Ability and motivation to self-teach analysis skills aligned with analysis best practices
Expected to deliver in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
Ability combine and analyze disparate data for presentation to senior level decision makers
Desired Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Expertise in operational testing environments, surveillance and reconnaissance environments, and electromagnetic spectrum fields
Familiarity with models approved for use in the Defense Intelligence Agency All-Source Analysis Enterprise (DIAAE)
Familiarity with the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment process
Expertise in satellite communications, satellite constellations and developing and conducting operational tests to assist a diverse team conduct requirements analyses
Experience researching, identifying, and making recommendations on resources and emergent technologies that may improve the execution of future year requirements
Experience developing display metrics generated from automated data sources
Experience with modeling, simulation and wargaming for joint campaign scenario development and analysis
Experience with a cloud computing system such as ADVANA, ENVISION or PALANTIR
Experience with model-based systems engineering programs SysML, CAMEO, MagicDraw
Experience with the Satellite Analysis Toolkit
Experience programming with Python, MATLAB, C++ and SQL
Familiarity with AFSIM and STK
Work Environment
Location: On-site in Arlington, VA
Travel Requirements: Minimal less than 10% if necessary
