As a Department Analyst III, your work starts in the office where you will serve as a primary resource for collecting data and analyzing the resources, services, programs, systems, budgets, and procedures of Ambulatory Operations. Your efforts help bolster the Research and Data Departments, making you integral to delivering exceptional patient care worldwide.
Shift: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs and prepare reports based on results.
Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact.
Identify opportunities for service and program improvement.
Participate in or lead project teams to complete high‑level analysis or special reports.
Assist with the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems.
Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvement or change.
Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Conduct briefings or presentations to keep others advised.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or a related field and three years of statistical analysis experience, OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience.
Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ambulatory experience preferred.
Prior data experience with Tableau highly preferred.
SQL experience preferred.
Snowflake or other data warehouse experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary: $52,270.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $79,727.50
The pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined after considering factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. The range does not include shift differentials, overtime, or the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (healthcare, dental, vision, retirement savings contributions, etc.).
