Oversee production groups to ensure that assembly operations are functioning in a safe, efficient manner in order to produce quality product on time. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass‑produce products by performing the following duties. This position may require overtime to include weekends.
Requirements
Assigns workers to various stations in the department based on production schedule and production needs. Troubleshoot production quality problems as needed. Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Performs Continuous Improvement walks and recommends improvements to production methods or equipment. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Suggests methods of motivating employees to achieve work goals.
Places parts in specified relationship to each other according to work instructions and/or prints that are provided. Updates work instructions as procedures change.
Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together and performs quality inspection of completed parts. Packs completed parts.
Works at different work stations as production needs require and maintains organization of work areas.
Reworks parts for assembly as required.
Conducts month‑end inventory of completed and in‑process parts.
