We are seeking a Senior GCP Developer to support the backend migration of an existing application from a private cloud to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role focuses on infrastructure setup, backend implementation, and deployment using GCP services and Terraform.
Candidates with strong DevOps experience and Java programming skills will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Lead backend development and migration of an existing application to GCP.
Develop and deploy applications using GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, VPC, and gRPC.
Write and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform.
Set up and configure GCP infrastructure to support application migration.
Implement monitoring and alerting for migrated applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with GCP development. Proven experience in developing and deploying multiple applications on GCP. Strong proficiency in Java programming. Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Familiarity with GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL), VPC, gRPC, and monitoring tools. Understanding of compute and storage services in GCP. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python. Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
